Laptops & Tablets Drive

For refugee families newly arriving to Portland, there’s an immediate need for laptops to schedule meetings, receive support, and access resources.

With weekly requests for laptops for newly arriving refugee families, Refugee Care Collective is asking for donations to distribute to each household, in partnership with local refugee resettlement agencies.

This will provide families the ability to connect with case managers, Oregon DHS, Refugee Care Collective family mentors, and other resources that are essential in the first several months.

Bring donated items to our upcoming Collection Day, or email us about hosting a laptops and tablets drive at your business, faith community, or school here.

Upcoming Collection Day:

• Saturday, November 19th from 10am-1pm
• Warehouse Address: 10160 SW Nimbus Ave, Suite F-3, Portland, OR 97223
• Added Directions: We ask that you drop your donation off at the back of the building (warehouse door: F3b). You’ll find us at the welcome mat!
• RSVP by filling out this form. Thank you for your support!

If you have a laptop to drop-off before the next collection day, send us an email.

Donate Items

Laptops and Tablets: Up to five years old (2017 or newer). Older laptops that have a working camera and can run a Zoom platform can also be donated.

We’re asking for items in good repair with decent batteries. If there are any problems with your device, kindly disclose them first. This will reduce strain on both our team and the recipients of your donation. (Laptops and tablets that do not meet these conditions will be donated.) A factory reset will be performed on every device before it’s distributed.
