Introducing our Community Resources Library

Accessing community resources begins with knowing where to find them. Housing assistance, employment services, English classes, and other essential supports are spread across many organizations, making it difficult to know where to begin.

Today, we’re excited to make our Community Resources Library publicly available – a free directory of programs, services, and public benefits available to displaced families and individuals throughout the Portland metro area.

Built as a searchable Google Spreadsheet, the Community Resources Library brings together trusted resources in one place. It includes organizations and services related to housing, food, medical and dental care, employment, legal services, youth activities, and more. Over the past year, we have worked alongside volunteers and community partners to build this resource and put it into practice. Volunteers have used the library while supporting displaced families, helping us continue expanding the information and making the resource more useful for the broader community.

The Community Resources Library was created for volunteers, small groups, churches, and community organizations. It is the first in a growing collection of free resources designed to equip communities with practical tools and information as they support displaced families.

We invite you to explore the Community Resources Library, share it with others, and let us know if there are additional organizations or services to include. We look forward to sharing more in the months ahead as we continue building practical tools that help communities respond to the needs of displaced families.
